Leilani was born in California but grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She has an extensive knowledge of the MCU, Friends, and Disney trivia. Before becoming a student at Oxbow, she worked mostly with charcoal and acrylics, preferring to paint on a wood surface. While at Oxbow, she enjoyed experimenting with different mediums. She likes to incorporate scientific concepts into her art. She later hopes to major in the sciences.
